Warren House in Chideock, Dorset
Warren House is in the centre of the small, historic village of Chideock, itself situated in the heart of the UK's first World Heritage Site and its Jurassic Coast. The beach and cliffs at Seatown, Chideock's 'harbour', are renowned for the quantity and quality of their fossils. The village has a small local shop, and three charming, traditional village pubs (one conveniently just down the road from Warren House).
These photos show the beach at Seatown: the first looking east, the second looking west towards Goldencap.

Warren House is less than a mile from the South Coast Footpath, which runs from Poole Harbour in the east through to Cornwall and North Devon in the west.
The village is well served by public transport, with an hourly bus service from Dorchester, Bridport and Axminster, in addition to the two hourly Jurassic Coast buses that run from Poole to Exeter.
